Final assignment support

Hi there everyone,

After a few iterations of this Leadership course, we have noticed some common areas for improvement in the final assignments.

The purpose of the final assignment is to discuss the results of your leadership assessment (which you completed in week 7) in conjunction with a current trend/issue impacting nursing and discuss what strategies you plan on implementing in your practice to support your professional leadership development in relation to the nursing trend/issue.

Essentially, there are 3 crucial parts to this assignment:

Identify an area of development from your leadership self-assessment
Link it to a trend/issue in nursing
Explain your plan about what you are going to do to enhance the identified area for leadership development and how this will have an impact on the nursing trend/issue

If you are asked revise your assignments it is to meet these criteria; please don’t be discouraged! We really want you to be able to make connections, analyze, and synthesize the work you’ve done so far in the course. This means that simply identifying your area for leadership development and/or identifying an issue/trend is not enough.
