I would say the trait that makes a good leader is “adaptable to situations”. In my line of work you have to be very adaptable as the situation can change in a second. I have had a leader who has kept a level head even in the most stressful of situations. I myself, have to be a leader to the PSWs I supervise on my shift. I have to remain calm, support my staff and adapt to all situations. I strive to make the staff know that I am available to help with anything they may need. I find great communication is key.
