I absolutely agree that storytelling is a powerful way to learn from other in nursing practice. One of my experience is that I shoud be very careful of doing narcotic counting. One day, when I was about to do narcotic counting with another nurse, the nurse showed me the narcotic very quickly and promised he did not use any of them during the shif, but I counted it carefully and found one narcotic is missing. As a result the nurse had to change the number of narcotic that he had written down previously. He also needed to give an explaination to the manager. I think if I did not count the narcotic carefully, the person in trouble would be me. This is a very important experience for me.
