I have learnt over the years that adjusting your communication style is often times the best way to get a to a mutual understanding, keep goals on track, problem solve and adjust where needed. I can think of examples almost everyday of having to adjust my style to what someone else may need in order to be a better communicator in different roles, personally and professionally. for example I am going to communicate and convey messages to my children in a different sense as I would my staff, my ex husband or even my boss. Each situation and person requires a different consideration.
