My response is to Karindips post. Great post! Thinking on your feet and utilizing resources available assisted in a somewhat smooth admission x2 during a very busy time of day. These situations happen more often than not, and it takes a good leader/critical thinker to adapt quickly to the situation with as little disruption to others as possible. Couple that with you were likely trying to finish a med pass, answer phone calls, patient requests etc. Glad you had the support you needed to make the moves more comfortable for your new patient’s and families the best it could be!
