Hi Kathleen, I believe the most important thing you did here was to realize you were wrong. That is the first and most vital step, I believe, in a conflict. You realizing you were at fault made you approach and want to fix the relationship with your co-worker. Because she was angry and wouldn’t have spoken to you, it was good you involved your manager. And of course, an apology always lightens the situation. I’m glad it worked out and you’re on good terms with your co-worker.
