Hi Pimonrat, I understand how difficult it is when family members are angry and we internalize those emotions. I think we have to remember that at the end of the day we are all trying our best to keep our residents safe. Lately I have been saying daily affirmations on my walks to remind myself that “I am enough and I will continue to try my best” and that “I cannot control anyone else’s emotions or reactions but my own”. I know in the future if something like this happens again, you are taking the steps so that you will be more confident in your approach and feel more prepared when speaking with a family member that is angry.
