      What I find most interesting overall about the TCPS 2:CORE-2022 modules is that even when all the considerations are made, it is still possible to overlook something in the research methods and cause harm to a person. However, the modules do describe the very detailed processes laid out by the TCPS that are involved in applying for funded research. In the age of digital information, I think it is of the utmost importance to have a thorough privacy and confidentiality policy.

      I greatly appreciate the modules of the TCPS2:CORE 2022. These modules show the commitment of the research body in Canada to ethical research. This in itself is worth applauding. Personally, I found the modules very enlightening. A learning experience that would be helpful for guiding any of my future research endeavors.

        Hello Oghenefegor,

        As you said how the modules commitmentof the research body in Canada to ethical research is very true. I stated in my post how with one of the modules risk and benefits explained how not only can research can cause potential risk to the participants but also the researcher so i’ts important to be careful. Great job!

      Hello everyone,

      I enjoyed the modules because it went into great detail about each given topic. One module that was quite insightful was Risk and benefits. Knowing that not only can research can cause potential risk to the participants but also the researcher was quite interesting. In addition, knowing that researchers have to take aditional precautionswhen the research proposal involves individuals or populations whose circumstances make them vulnerable, was good to know too.
