My original research question deals with pain management in long-term care homes. For this week’s critical appraisal, I selected the other pressing issue in LTC: fall prevention.
      Please see the attached document.

Implementing comprehensive fall prevention measures not only safeguards residents but also contributes significantly to their overall well-being. It’s interesting to consider how a proactive approach to falls can complement pain management efforts. For instance, managing pain effectively may encourage residents to engage in mobility exercises, which can enhance their strength and stability, thus reducing the risk of falls.
