Webinar Description:
In recognition of Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day, this webinar will focus on strategies and interventions to prevent pressure injuries, that can be implemented on even our busiest days. Included in this session is skin assessment for all skin types.
Sharon has been an RPN for over 15 years. In addition to becoming an RPN, Sharon has completed the Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN) Program through the NSWOCC Wound Ostomy Continence Institute, and the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course – University of Toronto and holds an Advanced Foot Care Certificate. Sharon was involved in the task force that developed Quality Statements related to pressure injury, diabetic foot and lower leg ulcers with an expert panel facilitated by Health Quality Ontario.
